At Growling Stitch, we believe every garment carries a story, and we honour that story with care and transparency. Our work begins with substandard items from thrift stores. Pieces that could not be restored or resold. These discarded textiles become our raw material, and with each transformation, we document their journey.
For every piece we create, you will find images and details of the original garment. We also share a clear breakdown of the costs — from materials to labour — so that you know exactly what goes into each item. This is our way of ensuring traceability and of valuing both the history of the fabric and the work of the maker.
